F is for Marshal Frankie McGras #atozchallenge

"Frankie, Scarlett called for you while you were out."
"Yeah, what's up? Did she say?"
"Yes, she did actually.  She wants you to talk to folks in the blog challenge. Today is "F" and she said F is for Frankie."
"Oh Missy, I don't know. You know I don't much like talking about myself.  What would I say to everyone?"
"Whatever you like, but you know we just don't tell Scarlett no. You could always tell them you are the most handsome Marshal in the country. That you are hawt! You could tell them you are months January thru December on the law enforcement.."
"Missy! Stop! You know that's not going to happen.  Yes, I'm a marshal, but that's what I do, not who I am."
"Oh I think it's more who you are than you realize, but whatever the case, buck up big guy, get out there and introduce yourself.  If it's any consolation, Scarlett said that you could tell them if she was going to cast your role for TV or a movie, she would select Tim McGraw to play you.  That's pretty cool, right?"
"It sure is, except now you already told them and I'm back to figuring out what to say."

Hi folks, I'm Frankie. Frankie McGras and I'm from New Orleans. I guess as you've surmised from above I'm a U.S. Marshal.  My job is finding people and then hiding them. I take it pretty seriously and I come from a family history of law enforcement.  My dad was a detective with the Louisiana State Police, my grandfather, too. My brother is a Texas ranger. But I feel like I'm more than a marshal.

I first appear in the Providence in Ecuador series in book 2, Peril in the Bayou. Of course, it takes place in my home of New Orleans. I do love New Orleans and the food, but there's no shortage of work for me here. I'm also in book 3 and Scarlett says she can use my expertise in the next book too. So as long as I manage to stay alive, I guess I'm around for the long haul. I say that because we've already lost a friend, but you'll have to read the books to find out more about that. I still can't talk about that even if they would let me.

I'm a son, a brother and a friend.  I guess you figured out I have some kind of relationship with Missy too. I don't see myself as a family man in the traditional sense because my father's law enforcement career ruined my parents marriage. I don't want to make the same mistake.

I like fishing and hunting like most southern men, having a beer and shooting some pool with a friend or two. I don't have many friends, but the ones I have are friends for life. I recently met Court McAlister and I love that his working partner is a dog. I think I would like to have a K-9 partner, I'm running that by my superiors now.

I think I will also do a little innocent getting even for being put on the spot like this and leave you with a little bit of a spoiler quote.  Shhh, don't tell. I made up this meme for my desktop wallpaper and I'll share it with you. And thanks for coming by, this turned out to not be so bad.

Thanks for coming by. I suppose I should've given Frankie a little more warning. I know he's not keen on talking about himself. Tune in next time to meet the Grants. That should be a lively converstation.

    1. Thank you for stopping by mine! I know Sundays for me are to get to read others. I want to make it to everyone, but I don't think it's going to happen. Over 2,000 blogs is a lot to read.
